How does this happen?

On May 20th, one of my flight instructors at work crashed his bicycle. He had major brain trauma and has recently come out of a medically induced coma to start his rehab. It will be a long process, but his family is happy with his progress so far. They just released him from ICU and have increased visit length from 1-2 minutes to 2-5 minutes. Grandma B's Birthday

We spent the day at Grandma and Grandpa B's house last Saturday to celebrate my Mom's birthday. The big kids climbed trees all day except for a short break to color on the huge boxes from construction materials. Good project idea, Laurie! The guys put siding up on the south side of the house while Michael struggled to nap with all the loud banging. Emelia had a lot of fun with Michael. I got quite a few really cute pictures of just those two hanging out all afternoon. Here are a couple pictures of the day.
